looking for a great ashtanga studio in la that offers the first and second series - no specific location needed at this point, i'm pretty open.

theres not much here at all as far as LED astanga classes. i teach the full primary series led, 2 times a week. sundays at 8AM at yoga works on montana - and fridays at 11am at yogaworks on larchmont. i also teach mysore class mon - thursday on larchmont at 11am.
the only other led class i know of - is at 4pm on sundays at the shala in silver lake - taught by joan hyman.
there are no led 2nd series classes in this town - tho there are tons of vinyasa style classes that you might enjoy. i had a baby 7 months ago and i explored some of those classes to get me through so i am pretty familiar with the good ones. i worked hard when i was pregnant!

Sun, February 10, 2008 - 11:21 PMmy teacher Maia Heiss runs a morning Mysore practice in Malibu and an evening class in Brentwood. She is amazing! Both the shala's are private, peaceful and beautiful. If you are a serious student and can make a monthly comit, write me and i'll hook you up.
